Position Summary:
Join our Ackerman Insurance Team as a Super Admin to be developed into a Licensed Insurance Customer Service Representative and Licensed Insurance Agent. Ackerman Insurance is willing to train and sponsor candidates who would like to obtain the necessary licenses to grow in their career.
Candidates must be detail-oriented, have strong customer service skills, and have professional communication skills to effectively work with new and existing customers. In this role, you must be a people person. We strive to put our clients’ minds at ease by advising on their insurance coverage needs. You can address customer concerns and fears by going the extra mile to find solutions.
Essential Functions:
In this role, you'll support a team of Insurance Account Managers with administrative support and answer incoming calls. Once the 4-40 license is earned, you will be able to sell some insurance products.
Job Duties include:
- Fielding telephone calls and directing calls to appropriate representatives.
- Manage incoming and outgoing phone calls to customers and potential clients.
- Receiving and directing in-person visitors.
- Update the policyholder’s contact information, such as their phone number and email address.
- Print and fax proof of insurance or send proof of insurance to the customer.
- Lien-holder/Mortgagee changes, CPR's, replace/ add cars, ID card requests, and reporting.
- You'll also collaborate on retention by reviewing underwriting memos and send reminders on past-due premiums to clients.
- Follow up on customer interactions in our management system, and toggle between different screens.
- Recommend potential coverages and policies by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
Knowledge and Skills/Technology Used:
- We are looking for an energetic, detail-orientated, and self motivated person with strong in-person, phone, and written customer communication skills.
- Candidates should possess a desire to find solutions to help customers have a positive experience.
- Establish a professional working rapport with our clients and any new relationships that are established.
- Attention to detail with accurate data entry skills are a must.
- Excellent customer service skills utilizing communication via the web, telephone, and e-mail.
- Professional telephone etiquette.

- Ability to work under pressure with strict deadlines.
- Strong technology and computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Salary: $40,000.
- Bonus Structure: Bonuses are based on production, meeting goals, and cross-selling additional products to existing clients.

- Willing to obtain Florida Property & Casualty 4-40 or 2-20 License.
