We currently seek a Loan Officer Assistant/Junior Banker to support our Senior Loan Officers/ Mortgage Bankers in the sales process. The ideal candidate will have a sales oriented personality and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal/ external business partners. Mortgage experience is a plus! This role offers a base salary ($16.50/ hr) plus a discretionary bonus structure.
Responsibilities
- Reach out to clients via phone and set up appointments with Loan Officers.
- Support Loan Officers sales and marketing initiatives.
- Maintain and reach out to Loan Officers' database of potential clients.
- Communicate with borrowers, Loan Officers, operations staff, etc to obtain required documentation and expedite the mortgage loan process.
- Update and maintain information in Encompass, loan origination system.
- Additional duties as necessary in support the mortgage loan process.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years experience in the mortgage industry preferred.
- Encompass experience preferred.
- Strong communication and follow up skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
