Summary
The Warehouse Specialist ensures that the items, services, and products that are purchased from specified suppliers are delivered according to agreed terms and conditions. Help support the day-to-day Procurement, Warehouse, and Inventory operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Processing all daily Picks/Shipments
- Building assemblies (training provided)
- Palletizing equipment
- Building Pallets
- Cycle Counting
- Operating a forklift
- Moving equipment and inventory within the warehouse
- Rotating 24/7 on-call one week at a time (once every 4-5 weeks.) This is subject to change based on company need
- Other duties as be assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED. Bachelors degree preferred
- Forklift Experience is required
- Excellent time management skills: ability to meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail, do it right the first time
- Maintain clean and neat appearance
- Maintain organized workstation
- Creativity, problem solving and ability to work independently
- Successful candidates will be self-motivated, focused, reliable, have strong communication, people, and organizational skills
- Ability to quickly solve problems, multi-task and resolve conflicts for and with customers
- Knowledge of power tools and ability to operate in a safe manner
- Computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software preferred
- Knowledge regarding UPS Makes/Models, Battery Makes/Models, and basic trouble shooting procedures preferred
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs.
