Job Overview
We are seeking a Foreman Millwright to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading installation, assembly and or demolition of machinery, conveyor systems, automated cells and platforms in various industrial settings. This role requires 10 years of experience with leading crews, hand tools and power tools, forklift/aerial lift operation, rigging, mechanical assembly/disassembly, precision leveling/alignment, welding, availability, dependability.
Duties
- Showing up everyday on time.
- Lead installation and demolition of machinery, conveyor systems, robot cells, automated storage and retrieval, platforms, etc.
- Using hand tools, power tools (impacts, drills, sawzalls, grinders, etc), rigging, levels, lasers, torch, welding machine.
- Installation: Lead crew in offloading equipment from trucks, bolt up assembly of equipment (conveyors, robot cells, platforms, etc), welding, precision leveling/aligning, ability to read and execute installation drawings.
- Demolition: Lead crew in cutting or disassembling equipment to be scrapped.
- Willing and able to give direction to crew and work closely with project manager to get jobs completed.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Complete daily reports and calls to project managers to update job progress.
- Creative problem solving.
- Take initiative.
- Focus on quality of work.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaboration: Work closely with project managers and less experienced millwrights to complete projects efficiently.
- Willing and able to lead 3-8 person crew.
- Desire to expand skill set and pass knowledge on to others.
Qualifications
- Personally dedicated reliable vehicle.
- 10 years of experience with leading crews, hand tools and power tools, forklift/aerial lift operation, rigging, mechanically inclined, welding, precision leveling/aligning.
- Required: Proficient in English.
- Preferred but not required: Availability to travel for out of state jobs.
- Desire to expand skill set and pass knowledge on to others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
