CNC Lathe Machinist - Class A (1st Shift)

Job Description

Ideal Class A - CNC Machinist is responsible for setting up and operating multiple multi-axis CNC Lathe Machines. Must be able to perform in-progress inspections and make any off-set changes as required to ensure an acceptable first piece.

Requirements

• 5 years experience working and setting up CNC Lathe, Multi Axis machines preferred.
• Well-versed in performing visual, in-progress inspections and prototype inspections
• Able to use all mechanical inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gages
• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints and work instructions
• Excellent shop math skills
• Must be able to change any tools required during a production run
• Knowledge of G-Codes
• Able to set-up and make necessary adjustments for a new job orders
• Must be very detailed oriented, organized, have good communication skills and be a team player
