What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Specialist position at Nationwide Technical Resources Corp?
Seeking a Customer Service Specialist for an electronics manufacturer serving the defense, medical, science and industrial markets for both domestic and international customers.
The ideal candidate has 6-10 years related customer service experience working with RFQs and supporting the sales team. Ideally, industry related experience working for an electronics manufacturer is highly preferred.
What you will do:
- Prepare customer request for quotation (RFQ) and request for proposal (RFP)
- Maintain quotation files, monthly booking report and prepare year-to-date sales reports
- Coordinate and manage domestic and international customer returns
- Provide import instructions and requirements with foreign customers
- Coordinate and manage with Import/Export Broker to clear international goods.
- Secure Purchase Orders, support contract review and Sales Order issuance.
- Receive repair estimate, analyze material costs, prepare pricing.
- Perform MRP transactions and issue Packing Lists.
- Maintain and provide weekly status reports to various customers
Requirements
- High School Diploma and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience OR Associate's degree and a minimum of 6 years prior relevant experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience writing technical documents
- Microsoft Office proficiency required
- ERP systems experience
