Job Description
Seeking a RF Engineer for an electronics manufacturer serving the military and commercial industry.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 2 years designing and simulating microwave passive circuits. Must have experience with perform circuit design of passive waveguide, and RF / microwave components and multi-function integrated passive microwave assemblies up to 40 GHz.
What you will do :
- Design, develop, test and support production of passive waveguide, and microwave circuits and multi-function integrated passive microwave assemblies.
- Develop specifications for microwave components and subassemblies.
- Design for ease of manufacturing.
- Estimate and track project schedules and labor for engineering developments.
- Proposal writing and labor estimating.
- Possesses practical project management skills and will work to achieve technical performance while meeting schedule and cost operational targets for specific programs and projects with moderate impact on departmental results.
- Effectively communicates with contacts inside and outside of own department, customers, and suppliers.
- Responsible for recommending enhancements to systems and processes.
- Perform EM and linear simulations of microwave circuits, multi-layer boards, RF transitions and waveguide cavities.
- Perform RF / microwave component level system analysis.
- Generate test and data reports.
