About the Assignment
We are currently seeking an experienced RN to fill a 13-week travel nursing position in Hilo, Hawaii. This opportunity offers a chance to work in a beautiful tropical location while gaining valuable experience in a med-surg setting.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in med-surg nursing and be able to float between various units as needed. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Providing high-quality patient care in a med-surg setting
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Floating between medical, surgical acute, and cardiovascular units as needed
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient information
Requirements:
- RN licensure in Hawaii
- Minimum 2-10 years of experience in med-surg nursing
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification preferred
- PALS, Procedural Sedation, TNCC, ENPC certifications also preferred
