Pay Rate: $65,000 - $75,000 based on experience
Position Summary:
Manage all aspects of the Shipping Department.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily shipping operations to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure proper packing and labeling of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure adequate stock for shipping needs.
- Develop and implement efficient shipping procedures and policies.
- Create BOLs for both internal and external customers.
- Resolve shipping customer service issues by researching and sending tracking numbers.
- Hire and train new employees. Create SOPs to improve on new hire training.
- Manage special projects and observe them to completion.
- All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience using RF handheld scanners preferred.
- 2 to 4 years of warehouse experience in a leadership role.
- Strong language communication skills.
- Capacity to work independently or within a team environment and follow direction.
- D365 expert and can train current and future employees.
- Strong computer skills and must understand most Microsoft applications. Excel, Word etc.
Physical Requirements:
- Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, stooping, reaching.
- Continuous lifting/carrying of 25 lbs. or more up to 50 lbs.
- Positional: Frequent standing and walking.
- Gross Mobility: Climbing, frequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching.
- Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation.
