What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at Native Fine Diner?
Native Tongue Hospitality in conjunction with Native Fine Diner in Greenville, NC is looking for a bartender to lead our bar team at the diner. We are looking for someone self-driven, detail-oriented, who will create an excellent experience for guests and will motivate others to do the same.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcohol, mocktail, and non-alcoholic beverages
- Interact with guests, take orders and serve food and drinks
- Prepare ingredients to create craft, from scratch cocktails
- Plan and present bar menu come with ideas and input on new recipes
- Check guest's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies and fill out a regular inventory list
- Close 2-4 nights/week
- Take inventory monthly
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations keeping stock in date to bring the best ingredients to the guests
- Assess guests needs and preferences and make recommendations based on extensive knowledge of craft cocktails, scratch ingredients (from compotes to shrubs and foams), to the fine food on the menu
