Night Yard Jockey:
This is a night shift operations position reporting to the Transportation Manager. Shift is Monday – Friday,
from 10PM until 6:30 AM.
Primary responsibilities:
Safely moving trucks around before and after loading is complete at the direction of the night Manager.
Fueling any trucks that need fuel at our onsite pump.
Filling DEF tanks as needed in the trucks.
Assisting the night crew with case selection as needed during downtime.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Must be a minimum of 18 years old
Valid class C Driver's License
Able to pass a Department of Transportation Road Test
High School diploma or its equivalent
Physically able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, and
crouch. Lift up to 60lbs continuously, push/pull up to 250lbs on a dolly.
Available to work overtime
Able to follow oral and written direction
Qualified applicant must have reliable transportation
Fluency in written and spoken English required
Employee must be able to work independently and demonstrate a commitment to company’s guiding
principles of Safety, Service and Impact, along with keeping work area/vehicle clean, and organized.
