What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Supervisor position at Native Maine Produce and Specialty Foods LLC?
The supervisor covers just about everything, as a cross functional position coordinating Transportation and warehouse functions. Checks in drivers, logs return’s and checks quality of product returned.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Credit and Check in duties;
Log checks into spread sheet
Keeps credit explanations
Re-enters invoices that need to be invoiced for another day
Fills out QAC Quality Assurance check checklist
Checks quality and temperature of the products returned by drivers
Puts products back in the right slot locations
Other Duties:
Help managers in the office with phone call for ETA's
Answers driver questions about stops and products
Prints pick list for the selectors
Routes runs for the afternoon
Prints piece and case stickers for routes
Prints invoices and manifest for the drivers
Brings pickups out to customers when they arrive at the building
Parks trucks in bay and in parking spots
Makes sure all jacks are being charged when they need to be if no manager around
Wraps milk crate pallets and puts it in designated slot
Stacks pallets and puts them away on trailer
Fills empty slot locations with forklift on Saturdays
Communicates routing issues and customer account updates
Takes Delivery routes when needed
Requirements:
Computer competency must be well versed in all forms of Microsoft.
Forklift training certification to be acquired and other powered equipment
High School diploma or its equivalent
Skills and Abilities:
Passion to serve our customers and present in a professional manner.
Able to follow oral and written direction
Fluency in written and spoken English required
Extreme attention to detail

Ability to unload trucks with use of a non-powered hand truck.
Physically able to continuously stand, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, lift, push, pull, climb, balance, crouch, handle and move/push/pull/lift items weighing up to 70 lbs.
Must be a minimum 21 years old.
Valid class C Driver's License
