The Logistics Specialist is responsible for the safe and compliant transportation of products to various locations throughout Colorado.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Transports and delivers products, wholesale orders, interoffice mail and supplies, check and cash deposits, and other items to various locations throughout Colorado
- Ensures all signatures are receive throughout delivery process
- Reviews delivery schedules to prepare orders
- Prepares and packages orders for transportation
- Loads and unloads orders between delivery vehicle and locations
- Reconciles receipts for all orders from pickup to delivery
- Cleans and maintains vehicle interior
- Assists with coordinating vehicle maintenance
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- Must hold or obtain a valid Colorado Marijuana Enforcement Division (MED) Employee Badge
- Must possess and maintain a valid Colorado Driver License with a clean driving record
- Good customer service skills
- Knowledge of laws and regulations regarding the storage and distribution of cannabis products
- Experience with materials handling, inventory control, shipping, and/or receiving
- Standing for extended periods of time
- Driving for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk and/or stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
- Ability to use up to a 30-foot ladder
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and push/pull up to 100 lbs
- Ability to sit, stand, stoop, stretch, walk, bend, twist, reach, perform repetitive motions, and carry boxes or items
- Ability to regularly drive a company vehicle to various locations throughout Colorado
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays
- Position may be required to be on-call as determined by management
- Pay range: $22.00to $26.00; actual pay will be determined based on qualifications
- Accrue paid time off (PTO) immediately; starting at 2 weeks per year
