Job Overview:
We are seeking a Landscape Technician to join our team, this is an entry level position.
As a Landscape Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, including gardens, trees, and landscapes. This is a hands-on role that requires knowledge of various landscaping techniques and the ability to operate both hand tools and mechanical equipment. Must be able to regularly lift 50 lbs and be willing to work regardless of weather conditions (heat, rain, or cold.)
Responsibilities:
- Perform regular maintenance tasks such as weeding, pruning, mulching and edging
- Plant perennials, shrubs, and trees to enhance the overall appearance of outdoor spaces
- Assist with groundskeeping duties such as raking leaves, removing debris, and cleaning walkways
- Dig trenches or holes for various landscaping projects.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous experience in landscaping or groundskeeping.
- Familiarity with operating hand tools and mechanical equipment
-Knowledge of shrubs, perennials and weeds is preferred
- Knowledge of garden maintenance techniques and tree care practices
- Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and repairs
