Responsibilities
- Maintain food safety standards in accordance with local regulatory requirements;
- Maintain clean and safe work stations;
- Work with your team to prioritize production needs for the day;
- Prep vegetables and proteins using knives and other kitchen tools in accordance with our recipe standards;
- Operate ovens, stove tops, immersion blenders, food processors, and shredders in service of production goals;
- Help and support teammates by bringing positive energy each day and never, ever using the phrase, "that's not my job."
- Make yourself available for scheduling. It's retail, so nights and weekends are rotated, but required.
Qualifications
- Strong attention to detail;
- General knowledge of Food Safety practices;
- Positive Attitude;
- Prior experience preferred, but not required if you're a team player!
Must Be Able To:
- Stand for up to 4 hours at a time;
- Operate in hot or cold work environments (occasional trips to a walk-in freezer);
- Kneel and bend;
- Lift up to 30lbs;
- Work evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.
Minimum pay is $15/hour, but starting rate is based on prior experience. Eligible full-time team members are offered a benefits package, and all team members receive a 25% discount on merchandise.
