POST CONTEXT:
Headquarters Allied Joint Force Command Norfolk (JFCNF) provides a resilient, static Joint headquarters to plan, prepare and conduct operations across all domains in peacetime, crisis and conflict, in order to support NATO’s three core tasks, at the Joint Operational level, as directed by SACEUR.
The Logistics Information Management Section (LIM) provides analyses, strategic advice and recommendations in the area of development, implementation and governance of logistic capabilities and functions comprising of Logistics Information Management (LIM) and Logistics Information Systems (LIS). It identifies, defines and develops operational requirements related to LIM and LIS (including LOGSuite, MEDSuite and MILENGSuite elements). It also coordinates all round (DOTMLPFI) governance for ‘In service Life’ period of deployed NATO LIS lifecycle and manages the J4 Support Information Management (SIM) Network embedded across ACO HQs.
Principal Duties
- Assists the Officer of Primary Responsibility (OPR) in development of operational requirements development for information systems supporting ACO Logistic, Medical and Military Engineering stakeholders’ roles in Enablement on behalf of the NATO body.
- Assists the OPR in the effective execution of relevant general Support Information Management (SIM) Function related to the Enablement related Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities of the NATO body.
- Assists the OPR in effective execution of Enablement Support Services (ESS) development related to the Enablement related Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities of the NATO body.
- Assists the OPR in effective execution of extra duties directly related to the Enablement related Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities of the NATO body.
Essential Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in information management including the overall governance of how all types of information, structured and unstructured, whether produced internally or externally, that are used to support decision-making, business processes and digital services.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management including management of projects, typically (but not exclusively) involving the development and implementation of business processes to meet identified business needs, acquiring and utilising the necessary resources and skills, within agreed parameters of cost, timescales, and quality.
