Job Title: Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will be responsible for preparing the weekly payroll, monthly commission payments, and monthly credit card statement reconciliations. This position also applies payments to customer accounts daily. In addition, this position supports the accounting team for financial reporting and month end closing. This position will assist with account analysis and review.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply payments to customer accounts daily
- Prepare weekly Payroll for all locations
- Prepare monthly commission payments
- Perform monthly reconciliation of credit card statements
- Assist in the streamlining of accounting procedures
- Assist in the development of accounting internal controls
- Communication with the domestic and international sales representatives
Required Skills and Attributes:
- Payroll Responsibilities for Multi-State Organization
- Related Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) experience
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Education and Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3-5 years of experience in Accounting
