Description
The Manufacturing Intern will gain exposure to internal operations at Natoma Manufacturing, LLC through hands on experience in manufacturing, engineering and other areas of the company. Work on a project that relates to manufacturing or engineering. Build leadership and technical skills in a manufacturing role, working on challenging, real-world problems and solve for what the world needs.
This will be a temporary/seasonal position during the summer with the opportunity for continued part-time work during the school year or full time work after graduation.
OPEN TO HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE STUDENTS.
Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Participate in training programs that includes the Production, Deburring, and Quality Departments.
- Assist in key departmental projects and required job duties.
- Gain understanding of the manufacturing process controls.
- Works with the team to assist in the production of quality machined component parts, conduct in-process inspections to all standards of presentation and quality, and primary cleaning, secondary detection and removal of foreign objects and debris.
- Present findings and lessons learned to Executive Management at the end of the internship.
Must be a United States Citizen.
