Responsibilities and Skills:
- Conduct visual and dimensional inspection on manufactured component parts to ensure compliance with customer requirements and blueprint specifications
- Measure with precision inspection equipment
- Document results and efficiently communicate findings or problems
- Requires the ability to learn and meet established department work instructions and procedures.
- Possess the ability to understand and learn customer blueprints
- Familiarity with or understanding the use of precision inspection instruments (e.g. micrometers, calipers, CMM, etc.)
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Strong attention to detail
- Attendance, reliability, hardworking, and dependability are essential functions of this position.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to multi-task and stay focused
- Good communication skills
- Ability to sit/stand and concentrate for long periods of time are required for this position.
- Thrives in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment with tight deadlines
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as a team with minimal supervision
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus
Schedule:
4:00pm - 2:30am Monday to Thursday
**3-day weekends and opportunities for overtime available!
Compensation and Benefits:
Starting wage for this position is $15.00/hour. Pay is negotiable and based on applicant’s education and/or work experience. Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at Natoma Manufacturing.
