SEASONAL PART-TIME CUSTOMER SERVICE - LOADERS FOR OUR NURSERY OUTLET
Spring 2025 SEASON late-March through mid-June - $15.25/hr
THE SEASON LASTS 13 WEEKS
5 days a week
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Hours 10:00am to 5:00pm
Note: some loaders may be asked to report earlier and stay a bit later.
We are closed for restocking on Mondays and Tuesdays
Primary Responsibilities include:
- Efficiently and safely loading and unloading plants and related products into or out of customer vehicles
- Delivery of courteous service. Interacting with retail customers by answering questions or directing them to a more experienced team member as needed
- Unloading plant and product deliveries
- Moving sold plants and related products to delivery or pick-up areas
- Organizing materials and maintaining the appearance of the loading area
- Retrieving and sanitizing carts from the parking lot and returning them to cart corals
Qualifications:
Loaders must be able to:
- Lift and move 10 to 40 pounds on a frequent basis
- Work in a fast paced environment
- Be detail oriented
- Interact with customers and co-workers in a polite and courteous manner
- Work with multiple teams of co-workers
Things You Should Know:
- The work is fast paced, repetitive and physically demanding
- Loaders lift and carry heavy objects and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl in awkward positions
- The work is outdoors regardless of weather
- There is limited exposure to fumes, odors, loud noises
