Natorp Landscaping is expanding its Landscape Division into Commercial Property Landscaping! We are looking for those individuals that are excellent at reaching out and developing strong mutually beneficial relationships with the Natorp?s Commercial Landscape Practice Target Market(s):

  • Commercial Building Contractors
  • Commercial Property Developers
  • Commercial Businesses

To be successful in this role at Natorp?s, a potential candidate must currently have strong relationships in our target markets. The perfect candidate will be able to describe their success at hunting for new and renewal business in these markets in the Greater Cincinnati, Southwest Ohio, Southeast Indiana, and Northern Kentucky business areas.

The 5 non-negotiable qualities and selling skills required for this role are:

1. Consistent and effective hunting for new business

2. Properly qualifying opportunities while being consultative and demonstrating value

3. Quickly and efficiently building relationships

4. Executing a milestone-centric sales process that consist of:

a. Identifying decision makers or executives, planners of projects

b. Meeting with and developing relationships with those individuals

c. Positioning Natorp?s Commercial Landscaping as the ?Go To? resource for commercial landscape design, plants, and installation.

5. Taking Responsibility for ALL outcomes

Our ideal salesperson must excel at:

  • Creating estimates that maintain profitability and are competitive
  • Timely follow up and responsiveness
  • Maintaining proper organization of all commercial landscaping opportunities and client needs/requests/etc.
  • Communication to ensure perfect timing and delivery of promised Scope of Work

At Natorp?s, we sell custom engineered landscape design solutions sold directly to commercial property developers as well as through property consultants, property managers, and construction companies that ?bid? on commercial real estate opportunities.

The sales cycle can be very long, and the qualified candidate must be able to respond quickly when opportunities present themselves. Opportunities very often come via RFP. Our expectation is that the qualified candidate can demonstrate how they respond to RFPs so that at time of selection, Natorp?s is the obvious choice based on quality, and efficiency of work, product to be placed (plants, trees etc.), and responsiveness.

The right person for this job is a self-starter, highly motivated, hardworking, can manage themselves while working in a mixed environment of on-site and remote work.

Projects can range in size from $50,000 to $500,000 and the expectation is the Natorp?s will be positioned as the ?go to? resource for future opportunities. This requires someone that has account management and farmer skills as well as hunting. Our products and solutions are top of line, you will be closely managed and expectations to perform are high. Your compensation will consist of a salary and a commission formula.

Those that are successful have an entrepreneurial mindset, are comfortable asking for business, able to adjust well to pressure to perform and being asked to demonstrate that they are doing the activities required to be successful.

If you take ownership of your results, come to work daily with specific sales objectives to be accomplished, have extraordinary qualities such as: relationship building, creativity, attention to detail, analytical skills, landscape architecture understanding, and effective planning and implementation skills then perhaps we should talk.

This is a full-time, salary opportunity: $60,000 base plus commission incentive
