The Chief of Staff at Natson Hotel Group plays a pivotal leadership role in supporting the executive team to achieve operational and strategic objectives. The Chief of Staff is a high-level executive responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the organization, including managing finances, talent management, facilities, compliance, and legal matters, ensuring efficient and compliant operations while reporting directly to the CEO and contributing to strategic planning initiatives. The Chief of Staff acts as a trusted advisor to the CEO and other senior leaders, managing the corporate office and the personnel while pursuing the company’s goals. In this capacity, the Chief of Staff will facilitate communication between different teams and assist in decision-making processes, all while upholding the highest standards of service and hospitality in the industry.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Corporate Office Management: Establish and maintain a strict office culture for all corporate personnel, which includes time and attendance, productivity and performance evaluation, as well as overseeing supply management and facilities requirements.
- Talent Management: Support the talent acquisition and personnel development strategy, collaborating with Human Resources to ensure the right people are in the right roles. Contribute to leadership development and team building activities.
- Information Systems: Implement a digital storage solution covering a multitude of areas including but not limited to hotel operational data, contracts, ownership documents, tax returns and other legal documents.
- Accounting Management: Oversee resource allocation and budgeting, financial reporting, accounting practices, budget development, financial regulation compliance. Participate in a variety of contract processes and facilitate payment for a limited number of corporate expenditures while providing ad hoc support for hotel priority payments.
- Expense Reimbursements: Review, analyze and approve expense reimbursements for approximately 20 individuals.
- Risk Management: Serve as a member of the Risk Management team and provide guidance on insurance matters, identify and mitigate potential risks.
- External Relations: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and with key partners as needed. Build and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, including vendors, investors, and strategic partners.
- Leadership Support: Serve as a key partner to the CEO and senior leadership team, providing insights and recommendations to drive company performance. Provide direct support in managing internal communications and key organizational initiatives.
- Strategic Planning & Execution: Assist in the development, coordination, and execution of company-wide strategic plans. Track progress against goals and proactively manage timelines to ensure that initiatives stay on target.
- Project Management: Oversee high-priority projects from inception to completion, ensuring successful implementation across departments such as operations, accounting, and human resources.
- Problem-Solving & Decision-Making: Provide input for strategic planning, assist in setting goals for departments, collaborate on policy implementation and work with teams to mitigate risks and ensure operations are functioning according to established policies and vision.
- Other duties as assigned, which the Chief of Staffis capable of performing.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years in a senior management role in a hotel or real estate company. Experience in managing cross-functional teams and executing complex projects is highly preferred.
- Computer Knowledge/Skills: MS Office, strong Excel skills, and administration of employee hardware, software and email.
- Data Storage Skills: Extensive prior use of products such as Dropbox, Box, Sharefile, etc, preferably in an administrative capacity.
- Real Estate Skills: Familiarity with title reports, surveys, environmental reports, property condition reports, loan documents and franchise agreements.
- Accounting Skills: Understanding of profit and loss statements, basic accounting and accounting software.
- Legal Skills: Experience with contracts, limited liability companies, formation documents, partnership tax returns and K1s.
- Human Resource Skills: Experience managing personnel in collaboration with Human Resource department, including new hires, disciplinary actions and terminations.
- Highly focused and results driven.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
- Strong leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate personnel to achieve high levels of performance and exceed goals.

Pay: $125,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
