Natsu Healthcare is in need of a Human Resource Director. This position is responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives, ensuring that our workforce is engaged, skilled, and motivated. The director will oversee all aspects of human resources, including benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance with employment law, to foster a positive and productive work environment. Additionally, the role involves leading initiatives related to performance appraisal, employee engagement, and succession planning to ensure a robust talent pipeline. Ultimately, the Human Resources Director will contribute to the organization's success by enhancing employee satisfaction and retention while driving organizational performance. Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement comprehensive HR policies and procedures that support organizational objectives.
- Lead talent acquisition efforts to attract and retain top talent in the health care sector.
- Design and execute succession and workforce planning strategies to ensure leadership continuity.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives and career development programs to enhance workforce satisfaction.
- Provide executive coaching and HR consulting to senior leadership to drive organizational effectiveness.
- Oversee and support all aspects as well as team members of the HR department.
HR Administration :
Manage the recruitment and selection processNurture a positive working environmentAssess training needs to apply and monitor training programsEnsure legal compliance throughout human resource managementOversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance and disciplinary actionPolicy creation, standardization, and enforcementOversee payroll and benefits administrationAssist with HR projects and events as needed, such as performance appraisals and auditsFirst point of contact for benefit questions from employees and managerDevelop and maintain all job descriptions and job postingsProvide HR consulting services to senior management and employeesDrive employee engagement and career development initiativesIn-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practicesOther duties / responsibilities as needed.Recruiting :
Manages candidate sourcing resources and the associated business relationships with vendorsScreens and interviews potential candidates if needed.Supports recruitment efforts including job description administration, sourcing, interviewing, scheduling appointments and interacting with hiring managers and candidates regarding status of openings and applications if needed.Maintain tracking / measurement system directly related to recruitment effectivenessDevelop recruitment initiatives and marketing materials to attract applicantsInitiate and maintain contact with qualified candidates for job openings throughout recruitment and hiring processReview and coordinate candidate applications, conduct phone interviews / screenings, refer candidate to hiring managers, and participate in applicant interviews if needed.Coordinate participation in various job fairsDevelop / maintain contacts with schools, alumni groups, outreach organizations, and other groups as necessary to meet recruiting objectivesMaintain tracking / measurement system directly related to recruitment effectivenessOnboarding and Orientation :
Prepare employment offers and extend offer to candidates if needed.Manage all onboarding processes, including documentation, drug screenings, background screening, verify, and coordination with HRIS team.Conduct New Hire orientationEnsure excellent experience for all new hiresFull life cycle recruitingRequired Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills :
Ability to communicate confidential information.Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities within a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail and time management skillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience.minimum 5-10 years of experience with at least 5 years in a leadership role.Experience with HRIS systems and other software.Healthcare Industry knowledge / experience is preferred but not requiredA PHR or SHRM-CP preferredExcellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Strong knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws.The required skills in benefits administration and employee relations are essential for ensuring that employees feel valued and supported in their roles. Knowledge of employment law is crucial for maintaining compliance and mitigating legal risks, while expertise in affirmative action helps promote diversity and inclusion within the workplace.
