Position Overview:
The Director of Sales for the Northern Region will be responsible for driving sales growth, leading the sales team, and developing strategies to enhance our market presence. This role requires a candidate with extensive experience in the cannabis industry and a profound understanding of our customer base. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving sales targets, building strong relationships, and effectively managing a diverse team.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales Strategy Development
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Northern Region that aligns with company goals.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
2. Team Leadership
- Lead, motivate, and mentor the sales team to achieve individual and team sales targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training and support to enhance team capabilities.
3. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and partners within the Northern Region.
- Understand customer needs and preferences to tailor sales approaches and solutions effectively.
4. Market Analysis and Reporting
- Monitor sales performance metrics and prepare regular reports for senior management.
- Conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions and identify areas for differentiation.
5. Collaboration with Other Departments
- Work closely with marketing, operations, and product development teams to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate on promotional campaigns and product launches to maximize impact and reach.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in the cannabis industry, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of the cannabis market, customer base, and regulatory environment.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to analyze data and market trends to drive strategic decisions.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
Salary:
$120,000 to $150,000 bonus
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position may have some supervisory responsibilities.

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
