What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cosmetic Practitioner (NP, PA), Experienced Injector position at Natural Body Spa and Shop?

This role is for our Morningside Atlanta location (1402 North Highland Ave) and we are looking ideally for a full time professional with experience in cosmetic injecting, lasers and microneedling. This is our flagship location and has been performing injections for 6 years now and has an established client base growing at 16% per year
We are looking for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, experienced in injectables, to diagnose and treat cosmetic and aesthetic conditions as well as promote good skin health practices. As a Natural Body Spa provider, you’ll be our go-to person for ensuring the best patient and guest care possible.
Compensation is 25% service commission and 5%-10% retail commission OR hourly compensation. Total compensation will depend on hours worked and services performed.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain an excellent working relationship with Skin ReMEDI’s medical director, management and interdisciplinary team
- Administer documentation for services with clients prior to service
- Engage in marketing, recruitment, conversion and retention activity for new and existing clients including events (on and offsite), social media posts, group bookings and self promotion
- Provide superb cosmetic and aesthetic medical care
- Obtain and evaluate comprehensive medical health histories for each patient
- Conduct physical examinations and when appropriate order and study diagnostic tests or request medical clearance from patients PCP
- Diagnose cosmetic and aesthetic conditions and create appropriate and comprehensive cosmetic and aesthetic care plans
- Educate patient on condition, nature and purpose of recommended interventions and the burdens, risks, and expected benefits of all options, including forgoing treatment
- Employ consultative sales technique that is prospect focused, involves active listening and focused Q&A, and provides customized and long-term solutions for our patients including pricing and promotion
- Provide expert cosmetic aesthetic medical treatment
- Efficiently document all aspects of patient care including pre/post instructions, consents, photography, encounter notes and medication administration record.
- Manage adverse events to the satisfaction of the patient, business and provider
- Maintain medical equipment, supplies, inventory and sanitation per protocol for designated treatment area
- Honor schedule commitment by presenting regularly, timely and prepared for assigned shifts
- Autonomously maintain licensure, certification and advance professional knowledge base and skill set
Skills & Attributes
- Proven experience (one year minimum) as a medical provider in hospital, dermatology, plastic surgery and or medical spa setting
- Expert injection of neuromodulators, PRP and dermal fillers for cosmetic purposes
- Safe and effective application of laser and light modalities for skin texture irregularities, pigmented and vascular lesions and hair removal of the face and body (preferred, not required - we can train in this area).
- Confident and competent use of micro needling devices with and without radio frequency and PRP for the purpose of collagen induction and hair restoration (preferred, not required - we can train in this area)
- Skilled application of chemical peeling agents and medical grade skin care products for skin rejuvenation (preferred, not required - we can train in this area)
- Eager to continue gaining knowledge and clinical experience in cosmetic and aesthetic applications adopted by the company
- Excellent communication, documentation and consultative sales skills
- Strong ethical decision-making skills and strict adherence to the confidentiality of our patients and guests’ personal health information
- Team spirit with a positive attitude while working with an interdisciplinary team in a clinic setting
- Patience, kindness and a calm demeanor in patient and coworker interactions

Pay: $2,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
