About the Role
The Industrial Equipment Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the reliability and safety of equipment across our facilities and retail locations. This hands-on position is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing industrial machinery, powered industrial trucks, and dock equipment. The technician also leads preventative maintenance efforts, emergency repairs, and minor facility maintenance while upholding strict safety standards. Additionally, this role provides guidance and training to employees on proper equipment use to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime

A Sample of the Role:
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on Powered Industrial Equipment (e.g., forklifts, scissor lifts, electric pallet jacks, and floor scrubbers) to ensure operational efficiency.
- Maintain and repair Dock Equipment (e.g., dock levelers, restraints, dock doors, stretch wrappers, balers, high-speed doors) to minimize downtime and ensure safety.
- Respond to emergency equipment breakdowns, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Conduct minor facility maintenance, including painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry.
- Lead training programs on the safe operation of industrial equipment such as forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and inventory of spare parts.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and scheduled maintenance.
Your Natural Ingredients to Win:
- 3 years of experience as an Industrial Equipment Technician or similar role.
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical certifications are a plus).
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple work sites.
- Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and workplace safety standards (OSHA 10 certification is a plus).
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and security systems is beneficial.
- Forklift and electric pallet jack certifications (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong communication skills and ability to train employees on equipment safety and use.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond to emergencies as needed.
