Quality Assurance Manager

Natural Dairy Products of Newark Delaware is seeking a qualified Quality Assurance Manager to oversee and ensure its processes are meeting quality standard expectations and customer requirments for dairy, plant based, and fluid juice products manufactured daily.

Position Expectations include but not limited to;

1. Antibiotic testing of any milk loads that came in.

2. Pre op inspection and swabbing of filler room.

3. Testing on the tankers that includes, coliform, SPC, DMC and butterfat, record.

4. Testing of any finished product run which includes, SPC’s, coliform, DMC’s , taste testing and analytical testing.

5. Testing of shelf-life samples, which can include but not limited to SPC, Y/M, Coliform, taste testing and analytical testing.

6. Pulling plates and recording results.

7. Enter lab results into product evaluation spreadsheet.

8. Customer QA packets and Certificates of Analysis.

9. Supplier Approval Program.

10. Water testing and Air testing monthly.

11. Organizing lab documents and files.

12. Order lab supplies as needed.

13. Weekly Inventory of lab supplies and ingredients.

14. Weighing out Ingredients as needed for production.

15. Oversight/review of ingredients weighted out by production.

16. Monthly Environmental Swabbing.

17. Vitamin testing once a year.

18. Weekly QA summary reports.

19. Continual enforcement of company policies and procedures.

20. Training on applicable company policies and procedures.

21. Involvement in management meetings as required.

22. Participation in audits, including SQF, FDA, Department of Health, etc.

23. Follow all SQF Practitioner duties as defined by the SQF Code.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
