Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machine Operator/Set Up Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and maintaining our production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations. The Machine Set Up Technician will work closely with the production and maintenance teams to ensure that all equipment is set up properly and running smoothly, and will troubleshoot any issues that may arise during production.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain production equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify any potential issues or areas for improvement
- Ensure that all equipment is properly calibrated and adjusted to meet production specifications
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during production, including mechanical, electrical, and software-related issues
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure that all equipment is running smoothly and efficiently
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred
- 2 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Experience with mechanical, electrical, and software troubleshooting
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, up to 50 pounds
Schedule: Monday through Friday 6:30 AM-3:00 PM /-
Wage: Starting at $20-$22/HR dependent upon experience
