Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Setup Mechanic to join our team at Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. The successful candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment setup and be able to work independently to lay out equipment on a skid and align rotating machinery.
Responsibilities
- Laying out equipment on a skid according to specifications
- Aligning rotating machinery to ensure proper operation
- Coupling alignments using dial indicators or laser alignment tools
- Adjusting for soft foot to ensure optimal performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in heavy equipment setup
- Familiarity with coupling alignments using dial indicators or laser alignment tools
- Ability to read layout prints to set equipment in location and align it properly
