Responsibilities
Main Ingredients:
- Manage private label development and launches to make certain they are on time and well executed
- Coordinate across internal departments to communicate and execute private label initiatives
- Manage external stakeholder involvement (vendors, brokers, distributors, etc.) with private label.
- Work closely with distribution partners to ensure consistent product availability
- Maintain vendor information and product data and resolve discrepancies as they arise
- Provide insightful analysis and data-driven recommendations
- Work with Company Distribution Center and outside distributors on inventory, projections, purchase orders and turns to avoid lost sales and shrink
- Maintain healthy private label inventory practices
- Provide exceptional communication and maintain professional relationships with all internal and external stakeholders
- Interacts directly with Executive Team
- Manage 1-2 crew members
- Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department
- Oversee the daily workflow of the department
- Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
Qualifications
Recipe for Success:
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business or a related field
- Minimum 3 years relevant experience
- Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Prior experience presenting directly to an Executive Team required
- Strong cooperative relationship building and influencing skills
- Strong analytical aptitude with ability to present results, recap analysis and make recommendations
- Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to utilize SAP, BOBJ, MS Word, Excel, Power Point, Access and Outlook are required.
- Occasional travel is required

Physical Requirements
- Must have the ability to constantly lift or carry up to 10 lbs., frequently lift or carry 11-20 lbs., and occasionally lift or carry 21-50 lbs. Must also have the ability to occasionally lift or carry 51-100 lbs. with a team lift.
- Must have the ability to frequently push or pull up to 15 lbs. and occasionally push or pull 16-100 lbs.
- Must be able to occasionally use the computer for data entry and use of mouse.
