Engaging & Reliable Nanny Needed for Infant in Fort Thomas, KY
Location: Fort Thomas, Kentucky, 41075
Start: March 3rd (Flexible for a later start date if needed!)
Children: Girl - 3 Months
Compensation: $25/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 3 PM (Family is flexible!)

About the Family:
A warm and active family is seeking a nurturing and engaging nanny to care for their easygoing 3-month-old baby. The family enjoys an active lifestyle, including daily walks and park outings. Mom works remotely from home, while Dad has a dynamic work schedule, often traveling for extended periods. Flexibility is key, as occasional travel (short term and long term) with Mom and baby may be required.
What They’re Looking For in a Nanny:
- A reliable, proactive, and engaging caregiver who fosters a respectful and fun environment.
- Someone who minimizes screen time and is actively involved in play and developmental activities.
- A nanny who sets and maintains healthy boundaries with children while fostering a nurturing relationship.
- Organization and assistance with light meal prep.
- A go-with-the-flow attitude that fits well with the family's dynamic schedule.
Preferred Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of private household nanny experience
- No specific certifications required, but a strong overall fit with the family is key
- Comfortable with gentle parenting approaches while setting boundaries
- Open to occasional travel
Household & Job Expectations:
- Engage in play, walks, and activities with the baby throughout the day
- Support with light meal prep
- Breastfeeding-friendly environment
- Limited household duties (occasional tidying related to childcare)
- No pets, but grandparents’ dog may stay overnight occasionally
Compensation & Benefits:
- $25 per hour
- Guaranteed 40 hours per week
- PTO: 2 weeks, with additional PTO offered for retention
- Sick Days: Negotiable
- Mileage reimbursement: $0.70/mile if using personal vehicle
- All Federal Paid holidays excluding Juneteenth & Washington’s Birthday
Additional Notes:
- Seeking a long-term nanny, as they may expand their family in the future
- General vaccines required, preference to those with flu shot.
- Family car available for nanny use
- Flexibility with occasional adjustments in schedule based on Dad’s work commitments
