Pilates Studio Manager

Natural Pilates is looking for a Studio Manager for our flagship Beverly Hills studio. Natural Pilates is a Los Angeles and New York City based Pilates company featuring group Reformer Pilates classes as well as private sessions. The Studio Manager will work with management to ensure smooth daily operations, uphold brand standards, and drive membership growth. This role includes overseeing staff, managing schedules, and creating a welcoming, client-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of the studio including the day-to-day operations such as checking in clients, booking group classes and private sessions, collecting outstanding dues, etc.
• Resolve client complaints and answer customers’ questions regarding policies and procedures; work with the other management members on any difficult client needs or issues.
• Perform operational tasks including, but not limited to studio supplies maintenance and ordering, completing monthly inventory, and reconciling daily no-shows/cancellations.
• Ensure the studio and equipment always remain in quality condition & are fully-functioning.
• Drive sales for memberships, class packages, private sessions, and retail in the studio.
• Create an inspiring environment for trainers that motivates them to provide the highest level of customer service and performance.
• Provide specific and ongoing feedback to trainers via formal evaluations, client feedback, and taking classes.
• Work with our Los Angeles-based Director of Marketing to execute marketing efforts such as sending studio content for social media, assisting with on-site studio events and promotions.
• Assist with recruiting, interviewing, and selecting studio employees and successfully onboard any new staff using the Natural Pilates Training Manual as a road map.
• Run financial reports including weekly sales, utilization, retention, expenses, and monthly payroll.
• Reports weekly to Regional Manager and Business Owner

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of work experience
• At least 1 year of prior fitness management experience required
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Strong relationship management
• Ability to multi-task and coordinate ongoing projects, plans, and scheduling conflicts
• Strong interest in and understanding of business and financials
• Experience analyzing and interpreting data
• Able to work independently and confidently to make decisions and course correct as needed
• Entrepreneurial and motivated by a fast-paced environment
• Extremely detail oriented and organized
• Excellent client relations and communication skills
• Team oriented with a proven track record in providing successful leadership to a team
• Passion for fitness and wellness
• Proficiency in MS office/Google Workspace (especially excel/sheets)
• Experience working in MindBody strongly preferred
• Able to work a flexible schedule that meets the needs of the business which may include nights and weekends
• Must be able to lift/carry a minimum of 30 pounds
