Position Summary
The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of cannabis products through the trimming, manicuring, and preparation process. This role supports production efficiency and maintains high standards for product presentation and compliance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Trim and manicure cannabis product efficiently and consistently for sale.
- Maintain strict adherence to quality control standards and safety protocols.
- Collaborate respectfully with other members of the Quality Control team.
- Help ensure a positive, safe, and clean working environment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.
Physical Demands
- Prolonged periods of standing and/or sitting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Exposure to environmental elements such as fertilizer, dust, odors, allergens, and pollen.
Work Schedule & Environment
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, including weekends if necessary.
- Local travel during the business day may be required.
Competencies
- Ability to pass all required state and federal background checks.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or production environments.
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.
- Ability to remain calm and effective under high stress.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
- Must be at least 21 years of age and authorized to work in the U.S.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior laborer or manufacturing industry experience is a plus, but not required.
