We are looking for a part-time (SATURDAY ONLY) janitor to clean two commercial buildings in the Callahan Dr., Knoxville area for four hours, either on Saturday after 3pm or anytime on Sunday. The two buildings are four minutes apart from each other. Gas will be paid in between buildings. We are looking for people who are hard-working and have good attendance. MUST have reliable transportation. MUST have a cell phone and be willing to use it to communicate OFTEN. Must have a minimum of 1 year of cleaning experience and be detail-oriented. MUST BE ABLE TO PASS BACKGROUND CHECK. You MUST be willing to have a video interview through really or a FaceTime interview if you do not have a computer.
Duties Include: General Cleaning, Sanitize Restrooms, Dust, Vacuum, Mop, Empty Trash.
Other requirements:
Must be 18 or over
Ability to Pass Background Check
Provide documentation to work in the U.S.
MUST have reliable car
MUST have a personal cell phone
Ability to stand on feet for several hours
Some heavy lifting up to 50 lbs.
Positive attitude a huge PLUS
Must be able to communicate in basic English
1 year janitorial experience required
Starting Salary is $15.00 per hour. We will review for a raise after the first 30 days. MAX PAY for general cleaner - $16.00 per hour. We pay by the block of time, so there is potential to make up to $21.00 an hour.
Evaluation for a raise is dependent upon attendance, speed, and work performance.
