Job Description: Warehouse Production Tech – Regional Operations Center (Savannah, GA)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Production Tech to support daily operations at our Regional Operations Center (ROC) in Savannah, GA. This role focuses on providing overall support to the ROC staff and Manager, assisting with light production assembly, shipping and receiving, picking route orders, and loading route trucks as well as route field support as needed. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, technical aptitude, and the ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Production Support (Light Vending Machine Assembly)
- Assist with basic vending machine assembly, ensuring components are installed according to specifications.
- Perform routine quality checks during assembly to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Use proper assembly techniques, tools, and safety protocols as directed by the ROC Manager.
Shipping and Receiving Operations
- Support the receipt of incoming shipments, including machine components, inventory, and materials.
- Assist with preparing and staging outgoing shipments of completed vending machines, parts, and materials
- Maintain accurate documentation for all shipping and receiving activities in compliance with company requirements.
Order Fulfillment and Warehouse Support
- Support Picking, pack, and stage daily orders for local vending routes with accuracy and efficiency.
- Collaborate with route drivers to resolve order discrepancies or address route-specific needs.
- Support in load route trucks with completed orders, ensuring proper handling and organization of products
- Support with inventory replenishment, organizing storage areas, and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Facility Maintenance and Safety
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in monitoring warehouse equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure personal and team safety.
Qualifications:
- Experience in warehouse or production operations, preferably in a manufacturing or order fulfillment environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively in a small team environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management and shipping/receiving practices is a plus.
- Basic proficiency in using Warehouse Management Systems or related software is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform tasks requiring standing, bending, or walking for extended periods.
- Operate forklifts or other warehouse equipment as needed (certification preferred but not required).
Work Schedule:
- Full-time, primarily Monday through Friday.
- Occasional overtime may be required based on production and delivery needs.
