What are the responsibilities and job description for the Camp Techie/Hobbyist/Instructor position at Nature Preschool Center?
You must have an interest in one or more of the following: logic/reasoning, decision-making, creative thinking, and stress/time management. University students and high-school seniors with exposure/interests in teaching middle/high-school students are encouraged to apply.
Specific Needs:
At this time, we are looking for people with backgrounds in computer science, engineering, math, physics, chemistry, finance, accounting, geology, geography, and history.
General Details:
- Each class will vary in size based on the content, students' ages, and/or skill level.
- You will be provided weekly plans, associated content, material, curriculum, and a friendly and professional environment.
- Weekly (half and full-day) classes will be offered throughout Summer in South Austin/Dripping Springs.
- Must be punctual, responsible, friendly, and love working with children.
Duties/Requirements:
- Your primary role will be to teach and engage students in hands-on activities related to the course content.
- You will also be expected to provide feedback on the programs/content.
- You may also be asked to develop/update/review course content and/or communicate with potential and existing customers.
Compensation:
- We pay above market rates, depending on the level of experience, knowledge, hands-on skills, attitude, adaptability, and professionalism.
