What We Are Looking For:
We’re searching for a passionate and creative Lead Floral Designer with strong experience in floral design, retail operations, and team leadership. We are looking for someone who loves working with flowers, has a keen eye for detail, and enjoys helping people celebrate life’s moments. Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage day-to-day operations of our floral department including design, ordering, merchandising, and scheduling.
Design and create a wide range of floral arrangements for everyday sales, weddings, funerals, and events.
Provide exceptional service to walk-in customers, phone orders, and event clients.
Develop and execute seasonal merchandising plans to keep the store fresh, inspiring, and profitable.
Train, mentor, and supervise a team of floral and retail associates.
Manage inventory and supplier relationships to ensure freshness, quality, and cost-efficiency.
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote floral offerings through social media and in-store promotions.
Maintain clean, organized, and safe workspaces that exceed company standards.

Qualifications:
Proven experience in floral design and retail or boutique management.
Strong leadership skills.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of floral care, arrangement techniques, and design trends.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and around major floral events including Valentine’s Day, Mother’s Day and weddings.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Familiarity with POS systems and basic computer skills.
Ability to reliably commute or relocate to Bemidji before starting the position.
