Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Meat Cutter to join our team. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for preparing and cutting various types of meat products in accordance with food safety and quality standards. This is a hands-on role that requires attention to detail and a strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques. Duties: - Cut, trim, and portion meats according to customer specifications - Prepare various cuts of beef, pork, poultry, and seafood - Use knives, saws, grinders, and other meat processing equipment - Package and label meat products for display or storage - Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the cutting area - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures - Assist customers with selecting appropriate cuts of meat - Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and offering cooking recommendations Experience: - Previous experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role in the food industry - Strong knowledge of different cuts of meat and their characteristics - Proficient in using knives and other meat processing equipment - Familiarity with culinary techniques for meat preparation - Understanding of food safety regulations and best practices - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy If you have a passion for the culinary arts, enjoy working with food, and have experience in the meat industry, we would love to hear from you.
