Job Summary:
The Beauty & Wellness Clerk is responsible for assisting customers with their beauty and wellness needs, providing expert product knowledge, and ensuring the department is clean, well-stocked, and visually appealing. This role requires excellent customer service skills, knowledge of beauty and wellness products, and the ability to perform basic sales and merchandising tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in selecting beauty, skincare, haircare, and wellness products.
- Provide product recommendations based on customer needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked beauty and wellness section.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently at the register.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest beauty and wellness trends, brands, and product ingredients.
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking and checking expiration dates.
- Promote store loyalty programs and special offers to customers.
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling products.
- Work as a team player to meet sales and customer service goals.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Prior experience in retail, beauty, or wellness is a plus.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of skincare, cosmetics, haircare, and wellness products.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift light to moderate weight items.
- Willingness to learn about new products and sales techniques.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
