Position Title : Shipping Clerk

Reports To : Shipping Supervisor / Operations Manager

Department : Shipping and Receiving

Location : Nature’s Fusions Orem, UT

Job Type : Full-Time

Position Overview :

The Shipping Clerk is responsible for working effectively on a team that manages and processes all outgoing shipments, ensuring that products are properly packed, labeled, and shipped according to customer requirements. This role also involves maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring that all shipping documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.

Key Responsibilities :

Prepare and package products for shipment, ensuring the right items are sent to the correct destination.
Generate and verify shipping labels, invoices, packing slips, and other required shipping documentation.
Coordinate with carriers (UPS, FedEx, etc.) to schedule pickups and deliveries.
Ensure that shipments are processed and dispatched in a timely manner to meet deadlines.
Maintain an organized and clean shipping area, including consolidating pallets to maximize space allocated to finished goods in the warehouse racking.
Review shipping orders and ensure items are correctly picked, packed, and labeled.
Track and update shipment status and resolve any shipping discrepancies.
Assist with receiving incoming shipments and verifying accuracy of received goods.
Maintain accurate shipping records and inventory control.
Communicate with internal teams regarding shipping updates, delays, or issues.
Ability to drive a box truck for deliveries and / or pickups
Perform other duties as assigned by the Shipping Manager.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent (some college coursework preferred).

Minimum of 1-year previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse environments is required.

Knowledge of basic computer applications (Excel, Word, etc.) is required.

Knowledge of MS Access, shipping software, and / or logistics management systems a plus.

Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting, standing, and bending for extended periods.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Bi-lingual Spanish / English is a plus.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, and stand for long periods of time.

Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and conditions.

Work Environment :

Warehouse setting with moderate noise levels.

Interaction with other warehouse and production staff, drivers, and customer service teams.

Other Requirements :

Valid Drivers License

Clean Driving Record

Must have or obtain fork lift certification upon hiring.
