Assistant Dispensary Manager
Position Overview
The Assistant Dispensary Manager assists in overseeing the daily operations and transactions of the dispensary. The Assistant Manager reports directly to the Dispensary Manager. The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the Dispensary Manager in executing the company's goals and delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure the dispensary's compliance with security, inventory and local and state regulations
- Manage and inspire staff to deliver the highest level of customer service
- Ensure the safety and satisfaction of every customer and employee
- Responsible for providing a high level of education and development for staff pertaining to cannabis strains, edibles, concentrates and consumption mechanisms
- Prepare bi-weekly employee schedule
- Communicate with and coach staff on a regular basis to ensure the dispensary's excellence in service
- Implement and manage dispensary policies and procedures directed by the company
- Document financial, Inventory and customer trends; maintain sales and purchasing reports
- Manage and maintain dispensary sales and inventory management software
- Ensure employees follow company protocols.
- Assist in performing reviews of dispensary employees on a regular basis.
- Delegate tasks to the dispensary team as needed
- Train employees
- Onboard / Perform orientation for new employees
- Create a warm and welcoming environment for staff and customers
- Routinely work with vendors and community members
- Other duties as assigned
Performance Requirements and Skills
Job Requirements :
Physical Qualifications : Bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves and 75 pounds with a buddy, ability to be on standing or sitting for long periods of time.
