Final Packaging Technician
Shift 8am-4:30pm Mon-Friday
Job Overview: Packaging technicians are responsible for the packaging and labeling of all items being produced prior to sale.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Accurately perform filling, packaging, and labeling of products within the production facility. This includes, but is not limited to: bulk flower, pre-rolls, cartridges, concentrates, edibles, and other marijuana infused products.
- Packaging Technicians properly assemble products and label products in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Must follow all applicable policies, procedures, and guidelines; including the safe and proper operation of any/all applicable machinery, instrumentation, and equipment.
- Work as a team to meet production schedules.
- Good communication skills with co-workers and management.
- Practice good housekeeping habits throughout the plant with focus and personal contributions towards a clean and organized assigned work area at the end of the assigned shift.
- Maintain accurate records of daily production and communicate those records to management.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Possess a willingness to work hard and learn every day.
Requirements:
- Strong work ethic
- A very strong attention to detail
- Ability to work as a team
- Must be 21 years of age to apply
- Must be able to pass a federal background check
- Must be willing and able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Physical Qualifications: Standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds by themselves and 75 pounds with a buddy, carrying product totes, pushing carts, moving and making adjustments to process equipment.
