Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Assistant Manager to join our team at Nature's Herbs and Wellness / High Plainz Strains.
About the Role:
This is a full-time position that requires open availability, with regular scheduled hours of 35-37 per week. Overtime may be required when needed.
The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, shift management, and cash handling. Previous retail management experience is highly desirable, and experience in the cannabis industry is a significant advantage.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily activities during shifts, ensuring all staff take designated breaks and lunches.
- Manage discounts and resolve pricing issues within the Point of Sale system.
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization, ensuring a welcoming environment for customers.
- Open and close the store, preparing and counting cash drawers, balancing cash and tracking movements between drawers and the safe.
- Address escalated customer service issues and ensure compliance with all regulations set by the Marijuana Enforcement Division.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Previous retail management experience is highly desirable.
- Experience in the cannabis industry is a significant plus.
- Exceptional customer service skills and strong communication skills with both customers and associates.
- Ability to motivate staff and delegate tasks effectively to maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store.
