Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Landscape Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in landscape architecture and design, with the ability to develop innovative outdoor spaces that enhance the aesthetic and functional qualities of various environments. This role requires proficiency in design software and a solid understanding of landscape maintenance practices.
Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive landscape designs for residential, commercial, and public projects.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for outdoor spaces.
- Create detailed plans using CAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite to visualize design concepts.
- Conduct land surveying and site analysis to assess environmental conditions and constraints.
- Prepare project proposals, including timelines, materials, and costs.
- Oversee project management from initial design through implementation, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
- Provide ongoing support for landscape maintenance and adjustments as needed post-installation.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and sustainable practices in landscape design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Proficiency in design software including Adobe Creative Suite, CAD, Revit, and GIS.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and principles.
- Experience in land surveying is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration.
- A creative mindset with a passion for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing landscapes.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
