Job Description: Material Handler Night Shift
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Material Handler to join our team on night shift. As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently while ensuring continuous production operation of packaging lines and following our safety, quality, and production procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate the forklift in accordance with plant rules and regulations.
- Perform regular safety checks on the forklift and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for all team members.
- Follow Lock Out Tag Out program procedures.
- Ensure continuous production operation and follow our safety, quality, and production procedures.
- Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure quality standards are met.
- Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and Lean Initiatives.
- Label and stage finished goods for shipping.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum 6-12 months of forklift and standup forklift experience.
- Production experience preferred.
- Proven problem-solving ability with mechanical understanding of machinery.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
