Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and develop new equipment, machine, and systems for the plant
- Providing direction and assistance in conducting analysis of system maintainability and
reliability studies of equipment; develop and utilize appropriate surveillance and feedback
systems to generate and evaluate data. - Performing Root Cause Analysis of systems and subsystems within a manufacturing
environment. - Identifying operational delays and lead activities for problem-solving and continuous
improvement. - Develops engineering solutions to repetitive failures and all other problems that adversely
affect plant operations. - Collaborate with other company engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve
technical problems. - Developing monthly progress reports for matrices related to equipment reliability
including. - Providing technical support to ensure that Preventative / Predictive Programs, Maintenance Planning Processes are executed to meet current and long-term objectives.
Development and execution of Predictive Programs including:
- Vibration Analysis of rotating equipment
- Ultrasonic analysis of steam traps and air/steam leak identification
- Oil analysis of all lubricants
- Infrared analysis of all medium and low voltage equipment
- Motor Circuit Analysis

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Electrical engineering
- Professional Engineer(PE) License preferred
- PLC training or certification
- Demonstrated proficiency in creating and working with documents in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Lean/Six Sigma experience preferred not required
- CMRP Certification, or within 2 years after start of employment.
- 5 years of experience in plant engineering or maintenance
- Strong Knowledge of Engineering principles and practices
- Proven problem-solving skills with a mechanical understanding of machinery
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
- PLC Programming, HMI programming and VFD drive experience required
- Proven team-focused attitude; experience with self-directed teams desirable
- Strong mathematical and computer skills required; must be detail-oriented
- Experience leading by example to support an environment of diversity and respect at all levels of an organization
- The ability to communicate and understand verbal directions effectively and efficiently in English, both verbal and written
Shift: Salaried role following Monday-Friday schedule with early morning start time with flexibility between 6AM-8AM
Wage: 150K annually
