Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Cannabis Master Grower to lead our cultivation team and oversee all aspects of our cannabis growing operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cannabis, extensive knowledge of cannabis cultivation techniques, and demonstrated experience managing large-scale cannabis grows. The Master Grower will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of our cannabis products and will work closely with our growers to develop and implement effective growing techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage grow plans that ensure consistent yield, quality, and potency of cannabis crops.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and local regulations related to cannabis cultivation.
  • Oversee all aspects of cannabis cultivation operations, including seed selection, cloning, transplanting, feeding, watering, pest and disease management, trimming, and harvesting.
  • Manage all aspects of the grow facility, including lighting, humidity control, and temperature control.
  • Manage, train, and supervise a team of growers and personnel to maintain a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
  • Identify and implement new growing techniques and technologies to optimize plant health and yield.
  • Ensure that all products meet our quality standards by implementing quality control processes and procedures.
  • Record-keeping of all grow room activities including data logging, feed schedules and inventory management.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to the leadership team on cultivation performance.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in the state.
  • Bachelor's degree in Horticulture, Botany, Agriculture, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a cannabis grower.
  • Demonstrated experience managing large-scale cannabis cultivation operations.
  • Knowledge of a variety of growing mediums, nutrient mixes, and growing techniques.
  • Demonstrated experience managing a team of growers and personnel.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, when necessary.
