Nature’s Way Pet Aquamation  is a rapidly expanding end of life and afterlife care provider in mid Michigan, driven by a profound passion to support families and their beloved pets during life's most challenging moments. We are seeking compassionate Veterinarian to join our mission and assist with various aspects of our care, including in-home or in-office euthanasia and palliative care, as well as end-of-life guidance and consultation. Additionally, we are looking for individuals who are willing to assist with the dignified transportation of loved ones, ensuring their safe return to our office for final rest. Conduct exams in-office it in home.

  • Perform surgical procedures and assist in emergency care as needed.
  • Maintain accurate medical records for each patient, documenting findings and treatments.
  • Educate pet owners on animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians to ensure efficient clinic operations and high standards of patient care.
  • Stay current with advancements in veterinary medicine through continuous education and training.

Skills

  • Proficient in animal handling techniques to ensure the safety of both animals and staff.
  • Strong understanding of animal physiology and anatomy to accurately assess health conditions.
  • Knowledge of veterinary terminology for effective communication within the team and with clients.
  • Experience in animal husbandry practices to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Ability to perform procedures such as animal catheterization with precision and care.
  • Familiarity with animal restraint techniques to facilitate examinations and treatments safely.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and provide compassionate care.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $200.00 - $2,700.00 per week

Expected hours: 4 – 20 per week

Schedule:

  • 4 hour shift
  • Choose your own hours
  • Evening shift
  • On call
  • Weekends as needed
