What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker (Night Shift) position at Nature Soy?
Since 1989, Nature Soy has been bringing naturally delicious soy products to American tables. With a passion for soy and simple, real food, we offer a wide variety of fresh, high quality soy and vegetarian products for all types of diets.
We are now hiring Production Workers, five days a week, 8 hours a day.
Activities:
- Handling and Moving food and/or materials
- Using hands and arms in handling, packing, positioning, and moving materials, and manipulating things.
- Controlling Machines and Processes
- Using either control mechanisms or direct physical activity to operate machines or processes (not including computers or vehicles).
- Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings
- Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems.
Skills:
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Able to lift and carry heavy boxes (50lbs)
- Able to work on foot for extended periods of time
- Able to work five days a week
- Able to work in hot/cold temperatures, Entire shift
- Able to wear personal protective equipment (hair net, ear plugs, beard net (if applicable), gloves, safety glasses and skid resistant boots).
