What You Will Do:

The Housekeeper performs daily sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, and other general cleaning. The housekeeper also performs many other cleaning and light maintenance duties around campus. 

The typical working shift is either Sunday-Thursday, 12-8:30pm or Tuesday-Saturday 8am-4pm.

This full-time position works out of NatureBridge’s Golden Gate Campus in the Marin Headlands, where we operate a site at Fort Cronkhite as well as Point Bonita. 

Your primary job will be to:

• Perform daily routine cleaning of spaces which may include dorm buildings, office spaces, bathrooms, kitchens, and indoor teaching spaces. Tasks include sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping high touch surfaces, replacing paper products, and other general cleaning.
• Perform cyclic cleaning such as window cleaning, washing rugs, waxing floors, deep cleaning of the kitchen walk-in refrigerators and freezers, etc.
• Clean and detail vehicle interiors and windows.
• Participate in lawn care, painting, and grounds maintenance.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor with all staff, program participants, and guests.
• Perform physical tasks such as moving equipment, supplies, and furniture.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation:

• $20-21/Hour

Qualifications

Who You Are:

We are looking for candidates who have:

• Experience in housekeeping is preferred.  
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and consistently to high standards.  
• Ability to prioritize tasks to complete required cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Proficient in the storage and application of equipment and cleaning products.
• Able to work well with others including NatureBridge staff, Park Service employees, other Park Partners, program participants, and the visiting public. 
• Promptness and ability to work independently. 
• Flexible, strong customer service skills, good judgment, and safety conscious. 
• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs. or more).
• A valid Driver's License and clean driving record is required.
